Growing up in rural China, I had little access to art. However, I always had a huge interest in drawing, which led me to study Illustration and visual design at the prestigious China Central Academy of Art, then the Maryland Institute College of Art. I love to create whimsical, energetic illustrations with rich color and humor. Telling stories in a unique way is my motivation as a visual creator, and I enjoy building connections with the audience through my work.
I work as a freelance illustrator and educator. I am teaching full-time in the Illustration Department at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
